Biography
Was born on July 17, 1928 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Education
- In 1953 graduated from Yerevan Medical Institute.
Work activity
- 1966-1974 was the head of the department of acquired heart diseases in The Cardiology Research Institute.
- 1974-1993 was the head of the department of cardiac surgery in The Mikaelyan Institute of Surgery.
- 1975-1978 simultaneously was the deputy director of the Institute.
Achievements
- In 1986 became a Doctor of Medical Sciences.
- In 1988 became a Professor of Medical Sciences.
Other
- Works are related to the surgical treatment of congenital and acquired heart defects and many other different questions referring to blood circulation pathology.
