Biography
Was born 27 December, 1931 in Damirchilar, NKR.
Education
- In 1953 finished Pedagogical Institute of Stepanakert.
- In 1957 graduated from Pedagogical University of Baku.
Work activity
- From 1954 he was a teacher at the school of Avetaranots.
- From 1965 bacame the director of the school.
Achievements
- In 1984 USSR national teacher.
Other
- In 2000 Ministry of Education and Science of Artsakh created "Ivan Atanov" commemorative medal and each year organizes teaching workshops called "Atayan Readings".
Bibliography
- In 1995 he wrote a book called "Forever With Us", which was dedicated to the Memory of Victims.
