Work Activity
- Freed the territory stretching from Kgharjk to the Ksan river from the Arab amira, but lost from the Arabian troops and sheltered in Kgharjk, where founded a government, with the center of Artanuj (later united the provinces of Shavshet and Nigal).

- Is the grandson of Vasak Bagratuni, the son of Atrnerseh.
- Was killed in the battle against Arabs.
- The sons of Ashot Kyurapaghat, Atrnerseh, Bagarat and Guaram established separate governments in Northern Armenia.
- Ashot's great-grandson Atrnerseh who became the founder of the Georgian House of Bagratuni, was proclaimed the Armenian king in 899 with the help of the acting Armenian king Smbat.
- Is buried in the church of Saint Apostles of Artanuj.
