Biography
Was born on January 15, 1917 in the village of Hamzachiman (now Margahovit, Lori province), Armenia.
Military Activity
- During the 1941-1945 Patriotic War took part in the defense of Ukraine, Leningrad and the liberation of Voronezh, Belgorod, and Chernovtsi.
Achievements
- On September 13, 1944 received the title of the Hero of the Soviet Union (for the courage shown in the liberation battles of the Polish city of Yaroslav, during which destroyed 8 tanks).
Other
- Returned to his home village after the war where he took over the post of the council president of the village.
