Biography

Was born on September 21, 1924 in the capital of Georgia, Tiflis (Tbilisi).

Education

  • In 1953 graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute.

Work activity

  • 1970-1974 worked as the deputy of the construction minister in Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic.
  • 1974-1979 was the secretary of the presidency of the Union of architects of Armenia.
  • 1985-1992 was the deputy of the president of the Union of architects of Armenia.
  • 1986-1990 was the deputy of Yerevan's Chief Architect.

  • Viaduct with estacade, Yerevan, 1966.
  • Wine factories, Vedi.
  • Boarding house, Sochi, 1974.
  • Memorials dedicated to the victims died during the Patriotic war (1941-1945); Verishen, Nagorno Karabakh (Republic of Artsakh) in 1975; Noyemberyan (1985).
  • Memorial dedicated to the Yugoslavian pilots died during the airplane crush in 1988; Yerevan; 1990.
  • Wine factory, Saratov.
  • Residential house, Moscow, avenue of Volgograd.
  • Monument to the ambassador of Ethiopia Genadi Andreev; Moscow.

  • In 1971-Honorary Architect of the Republic of Armenia.
  • In 1996-Professor of the International academy of architecture in the branch of Moscow.
  • In 1999-Member of the International academy of architecture in the branch of Moscow.
  • In 1962, 1969- Certificates by the Supreme council, Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic.
  • Order of the Patriotic War ( first class and second class).
  • Order of the Red cross.

Other

  • He had his individual exhibitions in Yerevan (1974, 1985) and Moscow (1999).
