Biography
Was born in 1888 in Igdir, Turkey.
Education
- He studied at Russian Gymnasium in Igdir.
- In 1908 he graduated from Yerevan State Gymnasium.
- In 1908 he entered Moscow State University, the faculty of Law.
Work activity
- In 1914-1918 (during the First World War)he volunteered Andranik battalion having the responsibility of a translator-scribe.
- He was the Attorney of the First Republic of Armenia.
- He was engaged in educating armenian children in the USA.
- In 1948-1958 he worked at the Seminary of Grigor Lusavorich Mother Church in New York.
Other
- He is Avetis Aharonyan's son.
- His first stories were published during his student years in Moscow.
- He made a contribution in order to acquit his father from the prison who was imprisoned because of Federation issues and was hectic.
- He left Tiflis with Andranik after the dissolution of the battalion.
- After the collapse of the First Republic of Armenia he went to Paris to his father, in 1923 he went to the USA.
- In 1946-1951 he published 10 volumes of his father's works.
- In 1964 he visited Armenia.
