Biography

Was born on September 5, 1892 in Albania, Cilicia.

Education

  • From 1909 to 1914 studied at the National Central School of Constantinople.

Work activity

  • From 1918 was a teacher in a number of Armenian colleges and orphanages in the Middle East (Marash National School and others).
  • From 1924 to 1935 was an editor-in-chief for "Lebanon" and "People" magazines of Beirut where he promoted the achievements of Soviet Armenia, the ideas of socialism.
  • In 1926, member of the Lebanese National Provincial Assembly.

  • In 1915 was deported to Der Zor.
  • From 1921 to 1928 was imprisoned by French colonial authorities for being an advanced figure.
  • Was killed by dashnak terrorists.
