Biography
Was born in 1872 in Constantinopol, Turkey.
Education
- In 1887-1893 studied at the Murad Rafaelian College in Venice.
- Attended private courses of painting.
Work Activity
- Worked in Constantinopol, in 1897 moved to Paris.
Achievements
- In 1972 became a member of the National Company of Fine Arts in Paris.
Other
- Was influenced by Impressionism.
- Decorated many performances in the theatres of France, published graphic works dedicated to the Armenian liberation fights, designed the works of French authors.
- Had individual exhibitions in Constantinopol, Paris, Brussels, Strasbourg.
- Some of his works are showed in the Luxembourg Museum in Paris and other museums, the Armenian National Gallery.
