Biography
Was born on August 23,1908, in Kislovodsk,Russia.
Education
- He studied in Maync,Geneva.
Work activity
- He was one of the directors of "Absurd Theatre".
Other
- In 1914 he removed to Europe with his parents,in 1924 he settled in Paris.
- The future playwright lived very difficult times during his life,which had decisive effect on the forming of his view of life.His first works of surrealist style are the expressions of poet's pessimistic and decadent moods.
- In 1920s he became a friend with Pol Eluar who was a representative of surrealism.
- In 1930s he participated in the struggle against fascist groups.
- In 1941 he was thrown to the Arjeler concentration camp for speeches against Vishi government.
- In 1957 he passed into social and political theatre.
- In 1957 in "Paolo Paol's" play he introduced the social and historical reality preceding the World War I.
- In 1961 in "Spring 1971" tragedy he introduced the cases of Paris commune.
